Say No to Flu! (SAFE Campus)

Ten simple words — but our biggest challenge.

Please do your part to keep our college community healthy:

Cover your cough

Cough and sneeze into your sleeve (not your hand); or cover your mouth & nose with a tissue, dispose of the tissue and wash your hands. (view poster)

Wash your hands

Wash your hands with soap and warm running water for at least 15 seconds; or if handwashing facilities are not available, use hand sanitizers located across campus.

Wash frequently: before and after eating, and food preparation; after sneezing, coughing or wiping your nose: before and after using shared computers and other equipment; and, after using the toilet. (view poster)

Stay home when ill

If you develop influenza-like illness (ILI), including respiratory symptoms, fever and one or more of the following: sore throat, muscle aches, joint pain, or weakness, it is important that you stay home.

You should stay home until your fever is gone and you are feeling well.
