College Account Life Cycle (Computer Services)

Description:

Confederation College accounts include a username and a password. These accounts are automatically created for you when you join the College as a student, or an employee . Students get their accounts as part of the process of registering for a program at Confederation College. Employees get their accounts once their employee information has been entered into the Banner ERP system by the Human Resources Services department.

The Confederation College account allows you to access computer resources throughout the Confederation College network. Some services the account allows you to access are Blackboard, File / Print Services, Email Services, Webmail Services, Workstation Logins, Banner Student or Staff services, etc.

The Confederation College account is yours to use while you are working for, or attending Confederation College. Student accounts remain active for up to 18 months after you graduate from a program at the College. Employee accounts are removed when your employment with Confederation College has ended. As a College Employee, you may request that your account remain active after you leave Confederation College. (For security reasons, some systems and services will be restricted as you are no longer an active employee of Confederation College).
