Admission Requirements
Postsecondary Program:
The minimum admission requirement for post secondary programs is one of the following:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
- General Educational Development (GED)
- Successful completion of Mature Student Assessment
- Appropriate credits from the Academic and Career Entrance program (ACE).
Non-Postsecondary Programs:
The minimum admission requirement for non-postsecondary programs is one of the following:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
- Nineteen (19) years of age or older, or approval from a Program Officer
Prerequisites
Course prerequisites: Some courses require prerequisites to be completed before registering. Please make sure that you have successfully completed the applicable prerequisite courses to avoid problems with the course material and/or with your transcript.

Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Course Fees
Total fees (including material fees, if applicable) are required at time of registration. Your registration receipt should be taken to your first class.
Parking (Thunder Bay)
Parking permits are required weekdays from 8 am - 5 pm.
Cancelled Courses and Refund Policy
Every effort will be made to notify you by phone (to number provided upon registration) or email (provided upon registration) if your course is cancelled. Full course fees will be refunded if courses are cancelled by Confederation College.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy
A $20.00 administrative fee will be charged on all withdrawals from part-time courses.
Part-time Withdrawal (courses over 24 hours in duration)
- Your request must be submitted by email to ce@confederationcollege.ca on or before the second scheduled class to receive a refund minus the administrative fee (unless otherwise noted).
One-day workshop, weekend course and courses up to 24 hours in duration
- Your request must be submitted by email to ce@confederationcollege.ca two business days before the start date of the course to receive a refund minus the administrative fee (unless otherwise noted).
Online Learning Withdrawal
- Your request must be submitted by email to onlinelearning@confederationcollege.ca Please refer to your online learning information email for actual date to qualify for a withdrawal with refund minus the administrative fee. Visit the onlinelearning web page for more information.
