What is Office 365?

Microsoft Office 365 is the newest version of the Microsoft Office collection of applications. The Microsoft Office 365 suite now includes students’ College email, as well as all of the applications from previous Office collections, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Office 365 makes all of these applications available online anytime, allowing you to create, share, and store documents and information quickly and securely.

How Do I Access Office 365?

You can access Office 365 in the Confederation College Portal. Simply sign into your college account and select Office 365 in the Launchpad. Then, you will need to log into Office 365 with your full Confederation College email address and password. Once logged in, you will have access to the entire suite of tools. See the steps below for more detailed instructions.

1. Navigate to the Confederation College website and click "My Campus Portal".
   
2. Log into My Campus Portal using your Confederation College username and password.
   
3. Click "Office 365" from the Launchpad.
   
4. You may be prompted to 'stay signed in'. We recommend selecting 'No' on public campus computers, but you may want to answer 'Yes' on a personal computer. When this option is enabled, your web browser will remember your account and automatically sign you in on your next visit.
   
5. You will then see the main page of Office 365. You can access all web applications, open One Drive documents, or install Office 2016 from this screen.
    
   
    

Key Features and Apps

	Microsoft Mail You can access your Confederation College email within Office 365. Your email account will be an essential line of communication with your instructors and peers throughout your studies at Confederation College. Make sure you check it often! Instructions for adding your College O365 e-mail to your iOS or Android Device.
	Microsoft OneDrive Microsoft OneDrive is a cloud storage solution that allows every student online storage space. Students are able to store any files related to their classes in this location and access these files from any device with an internet connection.
	Microsoft Office Web Applications All of the classic Microsoft Office applications are available within your web browser. Log into the Office 365 service and click the application you would like to launch. These applications will work on most devices and do not require program installations.
	Downloadable Microsoft Office365 You can download the Office365 Suite to your computer if you prefer the full Microsoft Office experience. This will require you to download and run an installer on your device. This will also allow you to access all of the applications offline.
