"I am concerned about the future of our region"
Confederation College is committed to working with community members as true partners in community development through our three key strategic directions. These are:
- Access and Success of Learners
- Indigenous Learners
- Serving northwestern Ontario
Through Wiicictaakewin, our 2013-16 Strategic Plan, we are actively anticipating and addressing the future needs of northwestern Ontario and beyond.
"I want to honour or pay tribute to a loved one"
Whether our loved one is living ( In Honour) or deceased (In Memory) we can express our gratitude for the important role they play in our life. In Memoriam gifts are most often given in lieu of flowers upon the passing of someone who has touched your life and are a fitting way to express sympathy.
You can even celebrate a special occasion by informing your family and friends that instead of a traditional gift you would like them to make a donation in your honour. They will receive a charitable tax receipt for the contribution, and you both will benefit from knowing that your special occasion made an impact on a student's life.
"I am interested in reducing my taxes while planning for the future"
Did you know that you can meet your financial planning needs, protect your estate and lower your taxes while making a difference in the life of a student? Each individual situation is unique and we recommend you speak to your a professional for advice, but here are some ideas to get you started ... Next time you are discussing your future, remember to tell your lawyer, financial advisor and family that you would like to leave a legacy through a gift to Confederation College.
