Driving Economic Prosperity in Northwestern Ontario

Since 1967, Confederation College has been a driver of social and economic well-being for our region. With passionate, skilled instructors and smaller class sizes, we offer practical,
hands-on programs and courses that contribute to the development of our students, communities and industries. With nine campuses and technology-enabled learning, we cover a catchment area of 550,000 square kilometers and play a crucial role in driving future prosperity in the northwest. We are committed to supporting a diverse range of students, including Indigenous and International learners.

We are witnessing a time of great transformation in the economy of northwestern Ontario. The past several years have seen a restructuring of the manufacturing base, an ever-expanding need for workers with advanced skills and an identified need for skilled workers as baby boomers retire. At Confederation College, we know that investment in
postsecondary education is a key enabler of economic strength and prosperity.
