Now in its 30th year, Community Partners’ Evening—our Pearl Anniversary—celebrates decades of connection, generosity, and student success at Confederation College.
What began as a small gathering has grown into one of our most meaningful fundraising events, uniting local leaders, businesses, and supporters to help change lives through learning.
With rising costs, many students face real financial challenges. Your support—whether by attending or donating—helps remove those barriers and keeps students on the path to success.

Join us for a vibrant, reception-style event featuring:
- Five gourmet food stations prepared and served by our Culinary students,
- A take-home dessert created just for this occasion,
- A silent art auction showcasing amazing talent,
- The 2nd annual Community Partner of the Year Award presentation;
- And plenty of opportunities to mingle, connect, and celebrate.
Together, we’ll kick off the 2025–26 academic year with purpose and pride.

The 2024 Community Partners' Evening Recap
Last year's Community Partners' Evening, held on October 16, 2024, was a memorable evening celebrating community contributions and student success. Lyle Knudsen, president of Equipment World and a proud alumnus, was honoured with the inaugural Community Partner of the Year Award for his remarkable dedication to philanthropy and education in Thunder Bay.
Last year’s event was a tremendous success, raising $95,475 in support of Confederation College students.
