Vaccine and Masking Requirements

The College has removed vaccine requirements;  you will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination and screening results for entry into the facility. 

Masking is no longer required but keep in mind we are a mask friendly environment.

Extension of Student Memberships for 2022 Grads

Wellness Centre memberships for students graduating after the Winter semester are usually valid until August 31, 2022.  In recognition of facility closures this year for COVID, we are extending memberships of graduating students to December 31, 2022. 

Take advantage of this extension and enjoy the use your beautiful facility today!

*** To Clarify:

Students who graduated December 2021 were extended to August 31, 2022
Students who graduated April 2022 were extended to December, 31 2022

Re-opening Monday Jan 31, 2022

The Wellness Centre will re-open Jan 31 under the same conditions as last fall - proof of vaccination required, masks required while not engaged in exercise, physical distancing expected, etc. The saunas will be available with previous capacity limits.  All memberships will be credited with a full month's extension as a result of the January interruption of service.

Wellness Centre Closed as of Wednesday Jan 5, 2022

Due to the latest COVID surge, the Province is again closing fitness facilities for at least 21 days effective January 5/2022.  https://covid-19.ontario.ca/public-health-measures#sports_recreational_fitness_activities 

Sept 9/2021 Update

As of Monday Sept 13/2021, we are continuing our return to normality.  The following additional services will be available:

  • The showers will be open!  But the saunas will remain closed.
  • We are able to offer extended hours on Wednesdays with our closing extended to 11:00pm.
  • Small equipment loans will again be available from the front counter - basketballs, small workout devices, etc.
  • Basketball is available in the gym, although head to head games are still not allowed.

With these changes, all Wellness Centre memberships will be activated on Monday Sept 13.  In the case of any hardship, please speak with the front counter staff.
