Welcome to Gustavo Rodrigues Perlette

Please join me in welcoming Gustavo as a full-time faculty member teaching in the Health Informatics Program.

For over 20 years, Gustavo has been a noteworthy health care leader both internationally and in Canada. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Health. You may know him from his previous work as Director of Organizational Health at NorWest Community Health Centres in Thunder Bay, but he can also be credited with contributions to the Kingston Community Health Centres and Victorian Order of Nurses in Kingston, Ontario. Gustavo specializes in Health Informatics for health care program and services evaluation to support improvements in policy-making in this sector.

Gustavo is originally from Brazil, where he successfully led multiple health care projects with the Department of Health (Government of State of Mato Grosso).  When Gustavo is not working, he enjoys traveling, particularly those long road trips that involve camping and exploring national and provincial parks. Gustavo also likes making and having the Brazilian Churrasco right on the fire pit with his family, friends and his 2 Maltese dogs.
