Truth and Reconciliation week for the College was a time to reflect and bring together staff, students, and guests in an effort to bring awareness and acknowledgment of the experience and impact of residential schools.

The college community and Senior Team would like to thank all the efforts made by staff to organize and bring forward the fulsome week of events. In particular, Negahneewin Student Services (locally Emily M., Heather C, Sterling F, Neebin S.W, Leanna M, Joe W, Tiffany M.) for always leading heart-led and meaningful activities. Josh S, Deb S., Jeannine V, Darcy M., Raven L., Jillian G., and Karol M for supporting the conversation and activities, and to all the staff who participated in the Run/Walk-thank you! Thank you as well to all the regional leads and campus’ for prioritizing this conversation and initiating local activities in each community. To the guests that we welcomed to the College, who shared stories and took us on an emotional journey, we thank you! As we close out the week of events, we look forward to continuing truth and reconciliation throughout the year.
