In Memoriam – Sidney Duke

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sidney (Sid) Duke on December 30, 2022. Sid was a faculty member in the Faculty of Engineering since 2009, where he taught welding. Sid’s positive nature was infectious making it a pleasure to be around him. He always accepted new challenges and focused on what was best for the student. His expertise was a valuable contribution to the college. Our sincerest condolences go out to Sidney’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Flags at Confederation College’s Thunder Bay Campus will be flown at half-mast today in memory and honour of Sidney Duke.
