Hold and Secure Drill - August 29, 2023

Public Safety along with the Thunder Bay Police Service will be testing Confederation College’s Hold and Secure systems on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023. This drill will test the emergency response systems in the College and will take place in the Shuniah, Dorion, and McIntyre buildings at specifically designated times.

The drill will start at approximately 9:30 am in the Shuniah building..

At approximately 10:15 am Dorion Building.

At approximately 11:00 am Mcintyre Building.

You will hear a notification over the mass communications speakers or the Safe Campus app notification or both.

Here are a few steps to take ahead of this drill:

1. Please familiarize yourself with the Hold and Secure procedures

2. Please ensure you have the SAFE Campus app downloaded on your phone and have notifications activated for the Thunder Bay campus.
