On behalf of the School of Health, Negahneewin and Community Services, please join me in welcoming Pam Burton to the role of Associate Dean - Indigenous Studies.  Pam has been with our College in various roles for over 10 years, but most of you would know her as the faculty member and Coordinator associated with the Onajigawin Indigenous Services program (previously the Native Child & Family Services program).  Pam was instrumental in transitioning the NCFS program to the OIS program in order to respond to community and sector needs.  Pam's passion for supporting our Negahneewin Vision and the integration of our Indigenous Learning Outcomes (ILO's) is one of the reasons we are so excited to have her join the School's leadership team.  I know she is excited to support the faculty in our Indigenous programs with their current program review and development processes.

If you have a moment, please swing by her office in 281D (beside the VPA's office) to say hi and welcome her to her new role!
