Welcome Dayna Debenedet

Confederation College would like to congratulate and welcome Dayna Debenedet to her new position of Manager, Learning Commons. Dayna officially started her new position at the end of January.

Dayna joins us after 12 years in the public library sector, where she worked as a Library Director in Bathurst, New Brunswick, and as a Library CEO/Chief Librarian in Dryden, and most recently in Leeds and the Thousand Islands in Eastern Ontario.  Dayna has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Second Language Teaching, and a Masters of Library and Information Studies. 

Dayna was raised in Fort Frances, and spent many years working in Dryden, including working as a part-time Communications Instructor at the Confederation College Dryden Campus.  Dayna is excited to be returning to Northwestern Ontario, and she looks forward to being closer to family and exploring Thunder Bay.
