Please join us in welcoming Aylee Nelson to the School of Health, Negahneewin, and Community Services! Aylee is our newest full-time faculty member teaching in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and Practical Nursing (PN) programs.

Aylee’s educational background includes a Human Nutrition degree, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate, and a Master of Nursing degree.  She has participated in and presented on research and has been called upon, as an expert in her field, to present to a variety of groups including our BScN students.  With over 18 years of nursing experience, the last 10 years have been as a Nurse Practitioner, this involvement in primary care, maternal/child services, critical care, and mental health has provided Aylee with a comprehensive knowledge-base to teach across our healthcare programs.

The students will benefit from Aylee’s passion for healthcare, as well as her motivation and enthusiasm for teaching and giving back to our students.  We look forward to having Aylee on board as part of the nursing team!

Welcome Aylee!
