It is with a sense of unity and purpose that we invite you to be part of a special tree planting event on Friday, September 29. This activity is not just about fostering environmental sustainability within our campus, but also serves as a meaningful tribute to honour the lost children as part of our Truth and Reconciliation week.

This event is taking place on Schreiber Road, just as you turn to get to the McIntyre Building. The event will commence at 10:30 am. Our dedicated Environmental Studies students will be leading the tree planting.

In addition, each participant will receive a Spruce tree sapling to take home (up to 100). This small act of planting a tree can be a powerful symbol of hope and resilience. It serves as a reminder that while we cannot change the past, we can influence the future.

We look forward to seeing you on September 29 as we plant trees in honour of the lost children. Together, we can make a difference – for our environment, our campus, and our community.
