Thunderhawks Men's Curling Team

Our Thunderhawks Men's Curling team recently competed at the OCAA (Ontario Colleges Athletic Association) Provincial Curling Championships in Sault Ste. Marie. Our team included Katrina Slomke - Lead, Jeremy Bertoldo - Second, Sean Maurik - Vice & Owen Riches - Skip and was accompanied by Coach, Dan Stezenko. Coach, Larry Rathje cheered on & supported our team from home base.
Our squad finished tied for third in Championships Round Robin action. The Thunderhawks fell just out of medal contention with a 4th place finish in the Finals.
Jeremy was presented the 2022 OCAA Curling Men's Championship First Team All-Star award. Katrina received the 2022 OCAA Curling Men's Championship Second Team All-Star award.
Our team represented Confederation College with professionalism, respect, sportsmanship, and fair play.
