Student Career Services: Creating Connections Program

Student Career Services will be hosting the Creating Connections Program this August for June (2022) graduates and soon to be August (2022) graduates!

This program is designed to support new graduates in career/job readiness, as well as gain employability skills. Sessions will cover a verity of topics, which will include: 

  • Learning about Canadian work place culture
  • Crafting an effective resume and cover letter
  • Receive 1:1 direct  support from a career development staff member and on-going career coaching
  • Complete a skills inventory  to understand your transferable and technical skills
  • And much more!

Creating Connections is a 4-week program to provided new graduates with all the skills needed to be successful after graduation!

Dates: The program will be held in room SHU358 on the dates below

  • August 9th, 1-4pm
  • August 16th, 1-4pm
  • August 23rd, 1-4pm
  • August 30th, 1-4pm

Eligibility: Upcoming graduates and recent graduates of a Confederation College program. Self-identification of those who are Black, Indigenous and people of colour.
