June is here, and it brings with it a time of celebration and recognition for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We proudly raise our Pride flag, which will wave high until the end of the month, symbolizing our unwavering support. Confederation College, alongside SUCCI, remains committed to fostering inclusive campuses where diversity thrives. While we acknowledge the progress we've made, we recognize there is more work to be done in supporting our 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Stay tuned for exciting Pride events happening throughout the month, as we aim to create safer spaces, encourage connections, and build a vibrant community on campus.

In the spirit of Pride Month, our Pride Centre (Shuniah Room 226) has been a hub of activity since the beginning of the year. We've been gathering weekly to enjoy crafts, movie nights, coffeehouses, and more. Together, we're creating a supportive and engaging environment for 2SLGBTQIA+ students and allies. We're also expanding our Pride book collection, ensuring diverse voices are celebrated.

Let's embrace the spirit of Pride Month, united in our commitment to inclusivity and equality. Together, we can make Confederation College a place where everyone feels safe, affirmed, and proud.
