We are thrilled to announce that Confederation College will be actively participating in events on June 21st, National Indigenous Peoples Day on Anemkii Wajiw (Mount McKay) at Fort William First Nation. This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to engage with and celebrate rich culture and heritage.

As part of our involvement, we will be setting up a booth at the event, and we are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to represent our college! This is an excellent chance to connect with individuals from the community, learn about Indigenous traditions and customs, and contribute to a greater understanding and appreciation of Indigenous culture. This is also a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships with members of our community.

Please contact [email protected] to sign up as a booth participant or to obtain further information about your role at the booth. We are looking for groups of at least 2 people to take time slots by hour (or a couple hours) starting at 9:00 am.

If you are requiring transportation for this event, please indicate this as we will be scheduling transportation for those who may need it.
