Confederation students are on a winning streak!  This is the fourth consecutive year that a recent graduate of the Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) Program at Confederation College, was the winner of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technology (CAMRT) Scientific Paper Award in the student category. Victoria Zieroth won top honors with her research paper titled, “Qualitative Analysis of MRT’s Opinions on Routinely Implementing the Air Gap Method for the Trauma Lateral Hip Projection”. This paper examined why the air gap technique is not used more in clinical practice, as it allows for the benefit of improved image contrast with a reduction in radiation dose.

It is very impressive to win recognition for research at a National level!

Congratulations to Victoria!
