July is Anti-Boredom Month

Celebrate by doing something you’ve never done before!

For some of us, this time of rest and relaxation can come with its caveats.  We may find ourselves busy with repetitive tasks such as laundry and yardwork that are not challenging enough to excite our minds and relieve that sense of boredom.  Often, we seek out too much screen time, which isn’t a healthy habit.

Finding positive and creative challenges and interests for beating boredom is where your library can help.  We carry a wide assortment of resources that will fight off your boredom for the foreseeable future!  Listed below is only a small sampling of what you can learn or to help build on your current knowledge. The following titles are offered in a variety of formats, from online to in-library. Click on the links to check them out!
