Geraldine Kakeeway, Regional Indigenous Liaison, attended a couple of career fairs in First Nation communities to share information about Confederation College. The goal of each respective First Nation was to bring in multiple organizations to their individual communities to network and provide information on career, education and training opportunities to their residents.

On August 11, 2021, Confederation College participated in a "Career Day" event hosted by the Grassy Narrows Mercury Care Home in Asubpeeschoseewagong First Nation at Sakatcheway Anishinabe School gymnasium. The purpose of this event was to highlight education and training opportunities to community members that could lead to future employment at the future Mercury Care Home in Grassy Narrows.

On August 25, Iskatewizagagen #39 First Nation also hosted an Education and Training Job Fair at David Kejick School gymnasium, where Confederation College set up an information booth, alongside other organizations. Two invited guest speakers identified themselves as Confederation College alumni and acknowledged that their education led to their current careers. One speaker graduated from the College's Police Foundations program and is employed with Treaty #3 Police Services, while another speaker graduated from the Practical Nursing program and is employed as a nurse with Waase Giizhig Nanaanawe'iyewigaming Health Access Centre.

Both events had great community attendance, allowing members to visit all the booths, ask questions and learn about education and training possibilities available to them. The host communities were welcoming and provided fantastic opportunities to network and build friendships based on reciprocity and respect.
