We in Negahneewin Student Services are proud of all the hard work, sacrifices, and growing pains that you have gone through to reach this point in your educational journey. Whether you are off to work, continuing your education, or taking a much deserved break we want to make sure that we honor you in a special Indigenous Graduation Ceremony on June 23rd from 2pm to 3:30pm EST
This online (zoom) ceremony, opened by Elder, Sarah Yellowhead will feature guest speaker Ryan McMahon, comedian, podcaster and writer from Coochiching First Nation. Student speakers, Candida Sinoway, and Savannah Upton, will also be present as well as Oshki Anishnawbeg Student Association President, Sara Lee Shoonias. The event will also feature singers from the Thunder Bay Hand Drummers.
So come and bring your family, maybe win some prizes, and celebrate with us.
