HEPA and UV Air Cleaners

Facilities has completed distributing the HEPA and UV air filters to the classrooms and labs across the College.  There are a few additional units that are left over and they will be distributed to smaller common areas where occasionally there are high volumes of staff and students interacting.  These areas include APIWIN, Health Centre, staff lounges, Computer help desk, shared main office areas such as Student Success, International office, Workforce Development, the Registrar’s office and central academic offices in campus buildings.  Please note that these air cleaning units supplied by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) are not meant for large open areas, so we are doing our best to distribute them across the campus where they will be most effective.
