Join Earth Hour – Saturday, March 25 @ 8:30 pm

Looking for something to do on Saturday night? Want to reduce your carbon footprint and show a strong Canadian commitment to climate action? Join Earth Hour and help raise Canada’s status on the international leaderboard.

Earth Hour is simple: power down – turn off all non-essential lights and turn off electronics on Saturday, March 25 from 8:30 – 9:30 pm. Use the time to go for a walk, read a book, catch up with family / friends, or learn a new game!

Earth Hour is a one hour lights out event focused on uniting people to take action on environmental issues and protect the planet. For 16 years, millions of people in more than 185 countries and territories have participated in Earth Hour, raising awareness about climate change impacts particularly biodiversity loss and nature.

Earth Hour supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) with a focus on SDG 13 Climate Action, SDG 7 Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 15 Life on Land.
