Congratulations Wendy Derendorf!

The faculty and staff of the Rainy River District Campus would like to wish Wendy Derendorf, long time Confederation College faculty, congratulations on her retirement from Riverside Health Care Facilities in Fort Frances, Ontario, after 39 rewarding years in the Nursing profession.
Wendy is a graduate of the first Nursing graduating class at Confederation College, Thunder Bay Campus in 1975. She has been teaching at our campus in Fort Frances for nearly 20 years in the PSW program, and we hope she will teach for us for many more years to come!
As a nurse, Wendy has the most wonderful bedside presence. Her caring comes across even from a pat on the hand. She is one of those nurses that can make you feel better just by her wonderful bedside manner and we, and the many students she has worked with, are so privileged to have her as a teacher at Confederation College!
Congratulations Wendy and all the best to you on your retirement from Riverside Health Care!
