College Rec Association Cornhole Tournament

Tournament Plan: Wednesday, May 4, 2022, 6:00 p.m.  

This tournament will be facilitated by Rob Russell who is a member of the Thunder Bay Cornhole League. He will set up in the tournament in the same fashion as his Cornhole league, where you will play a doubles format called switcholio. The switcholio means that for each game, players are randomly assigned a partner and 2 opponents for the game. Each game the random assignments change, so everyone will be partnered with different players. (How fun!)

Rob will go over some rules of play, teach you a few basics and allow a bit of practice time. Then the tournament begins!! We play aim to play a 4 game round robin, and then a single elimination playoff (where all players make the playoff round).

Other Details: The bar at the Slovak will be open for purchasing toss-enhancing libations if you so choose and there will some bar snacks (mixed platters & nachos) coming out throughout the evening to help keep your strength up to ensure the best tosses possible!
