Thunder Bay

Thinning out your garden or have some plants that you just don't want? Campus Sustainability would appreciate any native perennials, shrubs, or grasses that you would like to donate. This includes species like coneflower, black-eyed Susan, daisy, goldenrod, aster, yarrow, cinquefoil, pye-weed, mint, etc. Click here for a complete list of acceptable species.

You can drop off your donated plants from Monday to Friday - 8:30 am to 4:00 pm to the area marked "Plant drop-off" in the Northwest corner of parking lot Q (circled red in the photo below).

Your donated materials will be planted throughout the Thunder Bay campus and will help Campus Sustainability in the Confederation College Riparian Habitat Rehabilitation Project which aims to help restore local wildlife habitat and their populations. Please email Kady @ [email protected] with any questions you may have about acceptable species or the project. Thank you for your support!
