Buildings Heating to Cooling Transition in Shoulder Season

Spring to Summer is here, cool nights and warm to hot days.  This is commonly called the shoulder season where we see large swings in outside temperatures within 12 hours periods. We have shut down the main boilers in the buildings and are preparing to turn on the chillers this week as required. Electric make up heating is still available. Looking at just the next seven day forecast we are still in store for temperatures bounce between mid to high 20oC and low single digits. The building takes time to swing between days and nights. Dressing in layers is a great strategy during the shoulder seasons.

Please be patient during this time as we manage the building environment as the seasonal temperatures stabilize.
