Benefits Update and over-age student coverage information - August 2023

Please find attached, the Benefits Administrators Update for August 2023. This Update provides information on the upcoming benefit enhancements for both Support Staff and Academic employees. Attached, is the Support Staff Employee Communiqué to be distributed to all full-time Support employees. Also attached, is the Academic Staff Benefits Communiqué that was included in the May Update.
In addition, the Update outlines the process for updating the status for over-age dependents. Attached, you will find the communiqué Coverage for over-age student dependents for distribution to your employees to remind them that proof of full-time student status is required for over-age dependents.
The communiqués have been provided in both English and French.
