How/Why I Become a Teacher?

I worked in the developmental services field for over 15 years, in various capacities, prior to becoming an Integration Facilitator with the CICE team in August 2016. I am grateful to be a part of such a dynamic team. It has been a truly rewarding experience building relationships with our students, supporting their inclusion in the college and community, as well as supporting them in achieving their academic, vocational, and personal goals. Watching the students’ growth from their first day to graduation shows what can be accomplished when our students are supported to recognize and realize their unique talents, strengths, goals and dreams.
