2026 - 2027 SUCCI Board Elections

The Board of Directors consists of 11 student representatives and 5 non-voting board members who represent and govern our student organization known as SUCCI, the Student Union of Confederation College Inc.  Your student leaders identify the issues and concerns of the whole student body, advocate for positive change when necessary, improve on communication between students and the college and help to create activities, opportunities and ways for students to engage outside of their class time.  Bi-weekly board meetings are held to conduct the business of SUCCI, and are open to any student who wishes to observe.

Eligibility

Any full-time post-secondary student at the Thunder Bay campus is eligible to run for a position on the SUCCI Board of Directors provided they meet the requirements of office. Candidates are required to maintain a minimum Grade Point Average of 2.25 and must be returning to school full-time in Fall 2026 and finishing in April 2027. The GPA is determined by the potential candidate’s marks from the previous semester, as held by the official records in the Office of the Registrar of the college. 
 

Special consideration will be provided to a student confirmed by the Student Accessibility Service as a student with a disability. 

Please note that these are NOT EMPLOYMENT Positions with the Student Union or Confederation College.

SUCCI President  (open to all students in a graduating position.  Please note this position does not provide a pathway to Permanent Residency)

Director of Athletics & Campus Recreation
Director of Social Events & Wellness
Director of Student Life & Engagement
(Open to All Full Time Post Secondary Students at the Thunder Bay Campus)
Aviation Representative
Business, Hospitality & Media Arts Representative
Health, Negahneewin & Community Services Representative
(Open to Full Time Post Secondary Students in the respective School of Study at the Thunder Bay Campus)
Distance Education Student Representative
(Open to all Confederation College Distance Education Students via an application process)
