Access Support and Accommodations for Students with Disabilities at Confederation College

Welcome to Student Accessibility Services (SAS). We are the disability support office for Confederation College. Our aim is to provide individual assistance and supports for students with permanent and temporary disabilities.

Services and accommodations provide a fair and equal opportunity for success without compromising the academic integrity of the course or program.

Student Accessibility Services supports students with functional impairments that may impact their ability to meet essential course or program requirements. This includes:

  • Learning Disabilities
  • ADD/ADHD
  • Acquired Brain Injuries
  • Mental Health Disabilities (anxiety, depression, etc.)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Physical/Mobility Disabilities
  • Visual Disabilities
  • Deaf/Hard of Hearing Disabilities
  • Medical Disabilities      
  • Temporary Conditions (concussions, short term impairments following surgery, trauma, grief)                                                                               

Our office is open year round from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and is located in the Student Success Centre, across from the Information Hub.
