Board of Governors Representatives

2024–2025 Student BOG Representative

I am Lekshmy Thamarakshan Sindhu, proudly hailing from the vibrant state of Kerala, India. My journey in dentistry began with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and I have had the privilege of serving my community as a Dentist. Driven by a desire to continuously broaden my impact on healthcare, I am currently pursuing a PG Diploma in Health Administration and Leadership.  My ultimate aspiration is to secure a license and practice dentistry in Canada. My colleagues and patients value my approachable nature. I prioritize active listening and a genuine willingness to assist others, qualities that have undoubtedly served me well throughout my career. This commitment to open communication would be a valuable asset to the Board of Governors. My leadership experience encompasses both my academic endeavours; where I actively participated in organizing events, and my professional role as a dentist. I am passionate about understanding the needs and aspirations of students, and I firmly believe in advocating tirelessly on their behalf. As a member of the Board of Governors, I envision utilizing my experience, approachable demeanor, and unwavering dedication to make a significant positive impact on our student community. Working collaboratively, I am confident we can propel our institution toward even greater success.
