Terms of Agreement

Qualified graduates of the 3-year Mechanical Engineering Technology, Ontario College Advanced Diploma from Confederation College are eligible to enter the Post-Diploma Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree program at Lakehead University — Thunder Bay campus. Students are admitted into the Post-Diploma Program which includes the summer transition courses.

Confederation College students completing the 3rd year of the Mechanical Engineering Technology program through the Northern Colleges Collaborative Program are required to meet program admission requirements and prerequisites, as well as successfully complete the following additional (make-up) courses:

  • EMEC-1533 — Mechanics of Materials II
  • COMP-1411 — Computer Programming I
