Confederation College and Lakehead University offer a joint admission pathway that allows students to move directly from a diploma program at Confederation to a degree program at Lakehead.

Students begin their studies at Confederation, where they focus on applied, hands-on learning over two years. After completing their diploma, they transition to Lakehead to continue their education at the undergraduate level with a focus on academic and theoretical foundations.

College transfer applicants who are applying to a program are eligible for admission consideration if they have:

• Completed a 2 year of full-time academic studies at an accredited community college since leaving high school;
• Completed the appropriate program-specific prerequisite courses; and
