Full-Time Support Staff Strike Concluded

We are pleased to share that the full-time support staff strike at Confederation College has now ended. Early this morning, the CEC and OPSEU reached a tentative agreement to end the strike. The agreement is subject to the union members’ ratification by November 4, 2025. 

In agreement with OPSEU, picketing at all colleges will end immediately, and employees will return to work on Thursday.

We know the past few weeks have not been easy, and we want to thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. Our support staff play a key role in your student experience, and we are looking forward to having them back on campus to assist you. 
 

As services resume, please be patient as our staff return to their roles and begin working through requests. It may take a little time for everything to be fully back to normal, but our teams are committed to supporting you as quickly as possible.
