Have stuff in your office that you don’t need anymore and want to give it away?

The Free Stuff Station – a centralized spot for any free items to be kept as they wait for a new owner – has been set up outside the second floor of the Library (Shuniah Building)!

How It Works:

  1. Leave Your Items: Place your gently used items, such as books, binders, folders, notebooks, pens, pencils, file folders, etc. on the shelves or table outside the Library on the second floor. Do not leave items in hallways or in other common areas.
  2. Take What You Need: Items can be taken for free by anyone in the college community who needs them.
  3. Responsibly Dispose: Items that have been left on the shelves for longer than 2 weeks will be responsibly disposed of.

This initiative is supported by SUCCI and Campus Sustainability to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) specifically SDG #1 – No Poverty and SDG #12 – Responsible Production and Consumption by providing items to anyone in our college community who needs them and extending the life of items with a new owner. Any items that are disposed of will be recycled when possible.
