Darlene Wilson receives Good Citizen Award

Darlene Wilson, an Employment Advisor at NEW, was recognized this week at the City of Thunder Bay’s 46th Annual Exceptional Achievement Awards event. Her Good Citizen Award acknowledges her volunteer contribution to the Leadership Thunder Bay program. Sponsored by Confederation College to take the program, Darlene graduated in 2008. Since then she has been actively involved in various capacities in support of its board governance, program recruitment and selection, and community engagement and development. Darlene is a proud supporter of this 350+ alumni strong program.
Leadership Thunder Bay is a charitable NFP organization that provides leadership development opportunities for individuals, organizations and businesses. The 10-month interactive and engaging program raises awareness to the critical issues that affect our city, helps individuals develop skills for both professional and personal growth and gives back through community action projects.
