Attention Faculty - Blackboard Course and Collaborate Recording Cleanup

Attention All College Faculty: 

It’s that time again where Computer Services is required to clean out old data from the College's Blackboard Learn and Class Collaborate systems (this is a necessary process to keep the College’s LMS system running efficiently as well as cost effectively for storage space costs).  

 To do this, Computer Services will be looking at cleaning out all courses in Blackboard from the 2020 Winter term  (202001) and older as well as all recordings in Class Collaborate from the 2022 Winter term (202201) and older.

Please note the following timelines for this process:

Prior to Friday March 3 at 4 PM EST - Timeframe for faculty to archive or copy individual courses from 202001 term and older as well as individual Collaborate recordings from 202201 term and older (please see link below for instructions on how to archive a Blackboard course and a Collaborate recording).

Monday, March – As of this date, all Bb courses from Winter 2020 (and older), as well as all recordings from winter 2022 (and older) will be deleted by Computer Services.
