Food Service Workers (FSW) assist with food preparation, and safe food handling for many avenues of the food industry.
This program will also enhance your skills if you are already employed in an institutional food preparation setting, whether it is a commercial or long-term care facility.
You must complete all courses within 5 years of acceptance into the program. However, you will have the flexibility to set own schedule and may be able to complete the program sooner. As a graduate of the Food Service Worker program you may find employment in institutional food preparation settings such as homes for the aged, community based facilities, supportive housing, hospitals and restaurants.
