How to Confirm Your Offer

Congratulations on your offer of admission to Confederation College.

To secure your seat, you must confirm your offer by the deadline listed in your Offer of Admission.

Seats in many programs are limited. Confirming early is the best way to protect your spot.

How to Confirm Your Offer?

Option 1: Confirm Online (Fastest)

  1. Go to ontariocolleges.ca(opens in new window)
  2. Log in using the same username and password you used to apply
  3. Follow the easy step-by-step instructions on the website

Option 2: Confirm by Phone

Call the Ontario Colleges Customer Contact Centre:

  • Toll-free (Canada): 1-888-892-2228
  • Local: 1-519-763-4725

Your Next Steps

Once your offer is confirmed, your next steps are:

  1. Pay your tuition deposit: A non-refundable tuition deposit must be received by the deadline date listed on your “Offer of Admission” letter to secure your seat. If you miss this deadline, you may lose your seat in the program.
  2. Meet your Conditions (i.e. "Conditional Offer"): “Conditional Offer” appears beside a program name on your “Offer of Admission” letter, your offer to that program is made with the condition that we receive final transcripts or documents showing successful completion of all outstanding requirements for the program. Failure to fulfill your conditions by the deadline date listed on your “Offer of Admission” letter will result in your offer being rescinded. If you are unsure if your offer is conditional, you can log into the Confederation College Self Serve Banner system account to check the status of your application.
  3. Web Register for Classes: Once you have made your tuition fee arrangements and have met the conditions of your Offer of Admission, you can web register for classes and select your timetable.

Changing Your Acceptance

If, after accepting an offer of admission, your situation changes or you receive an offer of admission to a different program, you may accept the new offer by updating your online confirmation at ontariocolleges.ca(opens in new window), or by telephone at 1 (888) 892-2228 before the deadline stated on your “Offer of Admission” letter.

Access Your College Accounts

After you confirm your offer, you’ll receive access to your Confederation College systems. These accounts are used for important updates, registration, and student records.

College Email Instructions

All Applicants to Confederation College will have a College email account created for them. We strongly recommend that you check your college email account on a regular basis to keep up to date on important dates, application status changes and financial assistance.

How to Log In

  1. Go to https://portal.confederationcollege.ca(opens in new window)
  2. Log in using your Username and Password (your Username and student number are located in the top right corner of your Acknowledgement Letter)

The initial password format is as follows:

Fn##############

  • F = First letter of first name CAPITALIZED
  • n = First letter of last name lowercase
  • # = Your 14-digit student number (All student numbers will always start with '22663' and then have your individual student number after that i.e. 100123123)

Example: A student named David Smith with Student ID: 100123123, will have a password of: Ds22663100123123.

Note

Usernames and Passwords are Case Sensitive

  • Once logged in, click “O365 – Outlook” under “Launchpad” to access your email.
  • Log into the Office 365 website using your full Confederation College email account and password.
  • Ex. username@confederationcollege.ca

SSB Access Instructions

We encourage you to view your up-to-date application information for programs at Confederation College.

To view your current information, please log on to the SSB-Confederation College Banner Information System. Please be aware that applicants will have limited access to the SSB-Banner Information System until they become a registered student.

How to Access SSB

  1. Go to https://portal.confederationcollege.ca/(opens in new window)
  2. Log in using your college username and password (located on the top right corner of your “We Received your Application” Acknowledgement Letter)
    • The initial password format is as follows:
      Fn22663#########
      F = First letter of first name CAPITALIZED
      n = First letter of last name lowercase
      # = Your 9-digit student number.
      Example: A student named David Smith with Student ID: 22663100123123, will have a password of: Ds22663100123123.
      Please note: Usernames and Passwords are Case Sensitive
  3. Under “LaunchPad”, open “Student Resources”
  4. Select “OCAS”
  5. Click Applied Programs and select the application year

You now have access to view missing requirements/documents, program eligibility and offer status.

You can log back into your application at ontariocolleges.ca(opens in new window) and update the Contact Information tab on your current application.
