During my time at the college, I received amazing support from the teachers and staff who continuously encouraged me to doing my best and to continue my education.Associate Dean of Neghaneewin College Brenda Small has been an exceptional role model for me with her guidance and support, and with the support of others, I did continue with my education at Lakehead University.
Reflecting back on my experience as a college student, I see how my confidence and self-esteem has grown and has ultimately geared my professional path to focusing on Indigenous issues, culture, concerns and education.
