There are many ways to engage with sustainability at Confederation College. Check out some of our initiatives below:
Waste Management
Our centralized sorting system streamlines waste disposal by providing accessible locations for trash and recyclables, eliminating the need for individual bins in classrooms and offices.
Community Garden
The Community Garden offers accessible land for growing organic, sustainable, and locally produced food, providing opportunities to learn and experience gardening.
The Bike Locker
Located between the Shuniah Building and the Wellness Centre, The Bike Locker is a secure, monitored bike storage area with 27 spots available for students and staff on a first-come, first-served basis.
Getting Around Town
Confederation College connects directly to Thunder Bay’s multi-use trail system, facilitating safe travel by bicycle or on foot. Free bike racks are available at building entrances, and The Bike Locker offers secure storage for an annual fee.
