Prof. Ian Scott

Ian Scott is the Senior Graphic Designer in the Marketing & Communications Department at Confederation College, where his responsibilities include leading creative development, brand stewardship, and the design of integrated marketing materials that support recruitment, corporate communications, and community engagement initiatives across northwestern Ontario and beyond.

Ian began his career in Toronto working on national and international print campaigns before returning to his northwestern Ontario roots. He produced marketing materials for the regional tourism industry and founded his own design studio, Kuda Media.

For more than 14 years at Confederation College, Ian has contributed to award-winning campaigns across print, digital, environmental, and motion platforms, helping shape the College’s visual identity and creative direction across local, provincial, and international audiences.

Ian is a Registered Graphic Designer (RGD) and has volunteered on several RGD initiatives, supporting professional standards and advocacy within the design community. He also serves on the Interactive Media Development Program Advisory Committee (PAC) and teaches in the Interactive Media Development program, sharing industry insight and design-thinking principles with the next generation of designers.
