For Withdrawal Requests:
Part-Time Students
Part-time students can submit an email request to withdraw from an online, OntarioLearn course at any time to onlinelearning@confederationcollege.ca.
Full-Time Students
Full-time students can submit an email request to withdraw from an online, OntarioLearn course at any time to registrationservices@confederationcollege.ca.
Withdrawal with Refund
- Part-Time students can withdraw with refund prior to or on the withdrawal with refund date (listed below). A $20.00 administrative fee per course will be charged on all course withdrawals. Grades will not be recorded on a student's transcript.
- Full-Time students must follow the withdrawal with refund dates listed on the Academic Dates Calendar
Course Cancellations
Host colleges may decide to cancel courses at any point before a course start date. Course cancellations occur on rare occasions when a course enrollment is low. If a course is cancelled, students will be notified by email and a full refund for the course will be processed.
Withdrawal
Students may withdraw any time after the refund deadline. Grades will not be recorded on a student's transcript up to 10 weeks after the course start date.

Grades will be recorded on transcripts on withdrawals requested 10 weeks after the course start date (see dates listed below).

It is the student's responsibility to ensure that they order and receive their textbooks/materials in a timely manner. If you have not ordered or received your textbook/materials one week after the course start date, it is recommended that you withdraw from the course prior to the withdrawal with refund deadline. Tuition refunds will not be made if a student does not obtain the textbook in due time for the course and the withdrawal with refund deadline has passed.
*Full-time students must follow the deadlines outlined on the Academic Dates Calendar. Full-Time students who register in monthly intake courses - February, March, April, June, July, August, October, November, December - can follow the withdrawal without academic penalty deadlines on the chart above.
