Tech Studies I - Manufacturing and Mechanical Eng Focus

This introductory course offers prospective Engineering students a hands-on opportunity to explore key topics in Advanced Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering. Through a project-based approach, students will gain practical experience in core areas of advanced manufacturing. By the end of the course, students will have developed foundational skills and insights that will help them make an informed decision about pursuing a manufacturing or mechanical engineering program. ~ ~ Each iteration of the course may feature a different project, blending topics such as Design, 3D CAD, 3D Printing, Composites, CNC Machining, Manual Machining, and Sheet Metal Work. These subjects are integral to modern advanced manufacturing and other engineering industries, and students will learn how these tools and processes contribute to industry innovations.
