Diversity in SSW Practice

In this course, students will explore the challenges experienced by a range of diverse populations in Canada. Students will integrate the Generalist Perspective and Anti-Oppressive Practice in their role as Social Service Workers in assisting and supportive diverse populations including: children and youth in the child welfare system; women; persons living with disabilities; older persons; immigrants and refugees; and, sexual and gender diversity of persons.
