Institutional Dispensing Lab 1

In this course, students learn to implement hospital medication policies and procedures, dispense drugs in a hospital environment, interpret and fulfill hospital drug orders, and maintain essential records and documentation for effective institutional drug management. This includes manual and computerized order entry for unit doses. Independent double checks will be practiced.
